Job Opportunities at USAID Pakistan

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. USAID Project Management Specialist (Health System Strengthening-Family Health) – Islamabad

Position Overview:
As a Project Management Specialist for Health System Strengthening in Family Health, you will play a pivotal role in advancing USAID’s health initiatives in Pakistan. This position involves managing and overseeing projects aimed at enhancing the healthcare system, improving family health services, and ensuring the effective delivery of health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and monitor health projects focused on system strengthening and family health.
  • Collaborate with local and international partners to ensure alignment with USAID’s health objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, evaluate outcomes, and recommend adjustments to improve impact.
  • Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations on project status and achievements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in health program management, preferably with international development organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Pakistan’s health system and family health issues.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

2. USAID Project Management Specialist (Energy) – Islamabad

Position Overview:
The Project Management Specialist for Energy will be responsible for managing USAID’s energy sector projects in Pakistan. This role involves designing and overseeing initiatives aimed at improving energy infrastructure, promoting sustainable energy practices, and enhancing energy security in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement energy projects that align with USAID’s strategic goals.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, private sector partners, and NGOs to advance energy initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise in energy policy, infrastructure development, and sustainable energy practices.
  • Monitor project implementation, assess progress, and ensure compliance with USAID standards.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project milestones and impacts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing energy projects, with a focus on international development.
